As per the MOU, Zain Jordan and UNFPA will collaborate to advance gender equality, women’s empowerment and youth led initiatives by conducting a number of nationwide joint campaigns in the country addressing one of UNFPA’s three global inspirational    transformative agenda ‘Zero gender-based violence by 2030’. “The partnership between UNFPA Country Office in Jordan and with Zain under the banner of Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment is both strategic and timely,” said UNFPA Jordan Head of Office Ms. Enshrah Ahmed.

Stemming from its commitment towards supporting local communities including the Jordanian youth, Zain in partnership with UNFPA will join hands to advance various options for young generation through education, capacity building for youth on life skills, innovative health tools and strengthening youth community engagement. In addition the partnership will foster collaboration between Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC) and UNFPA Shababna (youth) network for the promotion of youth led innovative initiatives in Jordan.
